Major: International Relations (Global Business) Minor: Environmental Studies Class of 2016
Words of Wisdom: I think on a personal level, it's always beneficial to visit other places just to broaden your knowledge of other cultures. Cape Town is such a different place than LA, and living here is such a cultural experience. Professionally, I've made so many connections here that'll last well into the future, not only here but also back in the states. And academically, at least for me, UCT has a student body that's much more school-driven and into the political scene than SC (particularly because the students right now form the first generation after apartheid). But it's always good, especially as an IRGB major, to surround yourself with other people that thrive on a politically active environment. When I get back, I'll be interning with a judge in LA and just hanging out with my family and friends!
The first thing I'll do at home is definitely go to in-n-out. It's always the first thing I miss when I go abroad! (Besides my family)
