Michelle Toh is one of our just-graduated seniors! Her concentrations were in journalism and political science. This semester, she was awarded the Penny Lernoux Award for International Reporting, an annual prize given to a stellar graduating student who has shown a passion in global news, for her recent multi-part series exploring the culture of domestic helpers in Hong Kong. Outside of her pre-law emphasis, Michelle has written for USA Today, the Huffington Post, Harper's Bazaar and the South China Morning Post, and she worked as Editor-at-Large at Neon Tommy, Annenberg's web newspaper. She hopes to one day serve as a foreign correspondent for her hometown of HK and remains interested in all things comparative law, human rights, tech and fashion.
