ABOUT usc pad
Welcome! Phi Alpha Delta ( ΦAΔ ) is USC’s first & only Pre-Law Fraternity. If you are planning on attending law school or just have an interest in the law, then Phi Alpha Delta might be right for you. Founded in 1902, Phi Alpha Delta is the largest co-ed professional law fraternity in the United States. Approximately 1 of 6 attorneys, 1 of 5 federal judges, and 3 of 10 state judges are members of Phi Alpha Delta. Members also include 6 former presidents and 5 sitting Supreme Court justices. The fraternity is designed to help members explore potential careers in law and meet other students with similar academic interests. In addition to weekly presentations by professional speakers ranging from lawyers to law school admissions officers, members enjoy numerous networking opportunities, great advice from older students and alumni, and large discounts from LSAT instruction companies such as TestMasters, Blueprint and Kaplan.
Phi Alpha Delta is open to students of all majors, and students may join during both the Fall and Spring semesters. For more information about how to join, access the "Join USC PAD" section.
Welcome to the official website for the USC Pre-Law Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International!
Thank you for your interest in learning more about us and what we do. We are USC’s first and only Pre-Law Fraternity and are made up of a diverse group of individuals who all share the same desire for professional growth and development as leaders. Since the fraternity’s founding, our mission has been to “advance integrity, compassion, and courage through the service to the student, the school, the profession and the community.
One of our goals is to create and promote strength in the relationships of our members. Our chapter at USC is comprised of over 150 active members, each with different and unique interests, making our fraternity a diverse community within USC.
Our members at USC Phi Alpha Delta attend speaker series, chapter-sponsored events, leadership retreats, as well as many other events throughout the semester during which they are able to create both professional and personal relationships that will last a lifetime. Personally, I made one of the best decisions during my USC career in joining Phi Alpha Delta at USC and I invite you all to do the same!
Please utilize this website to familiarize yourself with USC Phi Alpha Delta and to understand more about us.
